Watch Out For Upcoming Muso Photographer....

Don’t expect any great literature here but what you will find is some gossip we have heard on the streets, the odd gig review and our views or opinions on pretty much everything and anything else.

Will modern rock see a revival of epic length musical solo’s reminiscent of tracks made famous by bands like Pink Floyd? One might say that the popularity of Guitar Hero indicates that more then just the odd Joe, enjoy the devoted hard core guitar solos of Metallica and Aerosmith - so why is it, that these days we don’t hear many new tracks with the same reflective LENGTHY guitar solo’s played on mainstream commercial radio? Kudos to Wolfmother for bringing back fabulous dedicated guitar solo’s, but tracks like theirs are played infrequently.
Is it that Commercial Stations think all the public want is modern pop?
Have they forgotten about the rock fans or is it the restriction on song length? Tell us what you think...
