Many years ago I had a trio and we were booked to play Holsworthy Army Barracks for a Blues Gig. The brief was they wanted a blues act. I wasn't strictly blues but knew I could cut the gig so I accepted. When we arrived there were about 200 people outside the hall all dressed up as Jake & Earlwood from the Blues Brothers movie. They wanted a Blues Brothers Tribute Band. Anyway a happy ending, my gutarist could sing the shake your tail feather song and we did a twenty minute version of Peter Gunn while they all danced on the tables. It was also the same day that my daughter was born in the morning.
