played into the wee small hours on NYE and The Snow Droppers.....what can we say, wow!
Although we didn’t technically see him, we heard Jeff Martins voice echoing through the valley from our campsite which was breathtaking. That man is a god!
Most memorable quote came from the lead singer of the Snow Droppers when he said “Normally when I play that song someone gets glassed, but here, there are two guys are rolling around on the floor hugging, what a great Festival!”
We caught up with a number of great Aussie musicans including Ash Grunwald, Mama Kin, The Panics, Blue King Brown and The Tongue just to name a few.
Sista got off on the wrong foot with Mama Kin when she pushed the boundaries (a story for another time) , but managed to turn things around with some fast talking. She also got into some hot water when she asked Ozi Batla to challenge The Tounge to and impromptu MC Battle, seems battles should only occur between enemies (mental note better research prior to challenging scary Hip Hop Artists - nah bugger it, reckon it is more entertaining this way).
